Our May athlete, Dr. Jeff Remsburg, is one of our newest KC Multisport Board Members and is bringing lots of energy to the planning and coordination of group training efforts including track workouts (Wednesdays at 6:30pm - Shawnee Mission South), weekend group rides, and other training programs. He’s a fun guy whose favorite triathlon discipline is “the transition,” because the other disciplines are way too hard! But don’t underestimate him, he’s got his eye on a full Ironman race for 2014. Please help us welcome Jeff to the KCM family!

Elite Partnership

KC Multisport is happy to announce its new partnership with Elite Cycling!

As part of this partnership:

Members will receive 15% off of products (bikes not included).
Look for a KCM Club night at Elite where members will receive 20% off.
KCM Members are also eligible for a bike fit priced at $250 (normally priced at $275).
Group rides will also begin starting from Elite.
We will be looking for 15-20 volunteers for Elite sponsored races at Midwest Meltdown and Jackson County Triathlons.

KCM Triathlon Gear Announcement

Dear KCM Athletes,

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of KC Multisport and we are very excited to offer upgraded club jerseys and apparel made by Desoto Sports! These custom garments are of the highest quality and are provided to our members at a great value. KCM gear will only be available via our web store which will be open for the next 2 weeks.

ORDERING PROCESS:

All orders will be placed at our online store hosted by Desoto Sports. Each custom item available is listed with specific details, along with a picture of how it will look and sizes available. The order will be shipped directly to you. Shipping and handling is free for orders over $125 and $7.95 for orders totaling less than $125. All orders that qualified for free shipping will have a credit applied after the online store closes. The online store will be open Thursday, May 16 through Saturday, June 1. Production time will be about 6 weeks, so expect to receive your order on or around July 13.

FIT NOTES:

It is highly recommended that all athletes try on the fit samples available at UltraMax Sports in Prairie Village! A full fit kit of all items available in the online store is available to try on. If you are unable to make it to UltraMax to try things on, there will be a size chart in the online store for your reference. Generally triathlon-specific items all run on the SMALL side as they are very fitted.

CUSTOM SIZE OR ADDING LENGTH:

If you need a custom size (example, women's full top lists sizes only to XL but they will make an XXL) you will need to call the company to indicate this as this is a special order. Call Desoto Sports at 715-634-5770 and ask for Sandy. There is a $10 charge for any sizes not listed &/or adding additional length, this will be added on to your order total when processed.

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES:

Please remember to verify your sizes before pressing the order button as there are NO EXCHANGES and NO REFUNDS. These items are CUSTOM and specifically made to order just for our club. If for some reason you order something and it is not fitting right... we will hopefully be able to sell to another club member.

MEMBER DISCOUNT & COUPON CODE:

Each member will receive a $45 KC Multisport credit to their order which will be figured into the price at checkout. You can use this credit to purchase the gear of your choosing! One $45 credit will be allowed per member. To receive the discount code, log into the website and click the "KCM Triathlon Gear" menu on the left.

Minimum Order Requirements:

This will be the only order we can guarantee you that we will be placing this year because we do have minimum order requirements. If for some reason we do not meet minimums for an item you want your card will not be charged. If you have difficulty using the online store, have questions, or would prefer to call your order in, please call Desoto Sports directly at 715-634-5770.

Membership Renewal

It's that time of the year again... You may renew your membership or new members may join the club online. Note you must pay online via paypal.

Membership has its benefits; each member will receive a cool NEW race jersey, access to regular training events, social events and discounts toward your favorite multisport related "necessities." Membership is only $65 for the year.

We've simplified the membership process this year. You will only need to fill out ONE online form then and pay via paypal.
